Sabah Choudrey

Sabah founded Trans Pride Brighton, an event dedicated to centering and advocating for trans and non-binary communities. Under Sabah’s leadership, Trans Pride Brighton has grown into one of the UK’s largest and most influential celebrations of trans visibility. With 10 years of experience in trans youth work, current Director of Colours Youth Network, Director of Middlesex Pride, and Vice-Chair at the Inclusive Mosque Initiative, Sabah is dedicated to creating inclusive, safer places for LGBTQ youth, and Muslim communities. Proud author of ‘Supporting Trans People of Colour: How To Make Your Practice Inclusive,’ Sabah’s tireless work has helped raise awareness about trans issues, combat discrimination, and foster a supportive network for those who need it most. Their dedication to uplifting trans voices continues to make a lasting impact on the UK’s LGBTQ+ landscape.
