Laïla El-Métoui, CEO of LEMeducation, is a staunch advocate for LGBTIQA+ rights and a stalwart champion of diversity, equity and inclusion. She’s known for her outstanding work, including the founding of education conferences ‘Pride in Education’ and ‘Educating Out Racism’ and the UK Queer Arabs Group.  As the Founder of ‘Proud London Councils,’ she empowered and supported LGBTIQA+ employees in local government in London. Laila has earned prestigious titles such as Stonewall’s ‘Lesbian Role Model of the Year’ and a spot on The Guardian Pride Power List in 2021. In 2023, she’s been shortlisted for the Rainbow Honours and Trans in the City Awards. Her leadership and dedication foster inclusive and welcoming environments while promoting equal rights for all.
