Dev Trehan, studied a MA in sports journalism in 2012 and is the first-ever British South Asian Sky Sports football news journalist. Dev has gone on to become an industry pioneer through strategic collaborations and breaking a range of exclusive stories. The award-winning journalist and author was the architect of the Hidden Figures series during 2020 Black History Month. Months later, he launched a page dedicated to British South Asians in Football on the Sky Sports website, the first of its kind in mainstream media. Dev is also Britain’s only dedicated spotter of South Asian talent in girls’ and women’s football. His unwavering commitment to breaking down barriers and fostering equal opportunities within the sports industry has earned him recognition as a transformative leader. With a passion for social change, he continues to drive positive shifts in the sporting landscape.
