
David Gray-Hammond is multiply neurodivergent, a published author and a committed advocate for Autistic and disability rights. Their work promotes understanding of identity and rights for Autistic, neurodivergent and other marginalised communities, campaigning for neuro-affirmative practice and against neuronormative harm. David produces up-to-date neuro-affirmative blogs, resources and training that reflect current research and lived experience, focusing on what matters most to the communities they serve. Through writing, training and platform building — including the Emergent Divergence platform — they provide practical support, education and advocacy designed to improve access and outcomes. David’s unwavering commitment to advocacy, evidence-informed practice and community-centred work makes them a pivotal voice in the movement for equitable neurodiversity-affirming systems.
