Atif Choudhury

Atif Choudhury is a community advocate and co-founder of Zaytoun CiC, the Fairtrade Palestinian olive oil cooperative, dedicated to ethical trade and social impact. He has led grassroots social-development projects across the UK, the Middle East and Asia, with a focus on disability inclusion, poverty alleviation and community empowerment. Atif serves as a trustee for Disability Rights UK, sits on the advisory board for Neurodiversity in Business and advises the WHO Rapid Assistive Technologies board, helping shape international disability policy and practice. In the UK he has built partnerships with homelessness charities including Citizens Online, St Mungo’s and Crisis, and has engaged with the Government’s Tackling Loneliness Network at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. Drawing on lived experience, Atif advocates for psychological safety, centring lived experience in policy and dismantling structural barriers. Through workshops, public speaking and sustained advocacy, he champions urgent, intersectional inclusion and continues to inspire action that transforms communities and advances equity globally.
