Jack is an inspirational young volunteer, community advocate and our youngest ever power lister, whose dedication, bravery and resilience have produced remarkable impact despite personal challenges. He faced bullying and the loss of his great-grandmother at a young age, experiences that fuelled his commitment to helping others. Jack volunteers for local initiatives including Winston’s Wish, supporting bereaved children, and has contributed poems for publication while creating projects that promote emotional wellbeing and inclusion. His environmental work at Nailstone Country Park demonstrates hands-on impact: Jack built a wildlife garden from recycled materials, created habitats, maintained the park and led large-scale clean-ups across 200 acres, earning recognition as a voluntary park ranger. His fundraising for the Children’s Air Ambulance — including campaigns in local schools — shows his community spirit. Jack has also shown extraordinary courage, notably lifting a flipped kart from a competitor after a karting accident, potentially saving a life. His bravery, compassion and determination make him a powerful role model for volunteering and resilience.
